Sort It Out
Directions:
Sort It out is an activity where you look at evidence and decide where it fits. The evidence can be numbers, shapes, data, facts, observations, etc.
- Read the question carefully. Sometimes the picture helps, too. Click the zoom icon to make the image larger:
. - Look at the first evidence item. Drag it to the correct column. You can also click an item and then click where you want it to go.
The image below shows us dragging the item "4 and 8" to the left-hand column.
- Once you put all the evidence in the left or right column, press Check My Work. This button lights up only after you've moved all the items.
- If you made any mistakes you will get this popup. Click Re-sort Items and then fix the items in the middle column.
- If you need help figuring out why you got an item wrong, press this hint icon:
- At the end of Sort It out, you will see a score. You can replay it as many times as you wish. Please note: Your teacher can see all of your scores.
